  • Preschool Program


    A fun and engaging introduction to gymnastics for kids up to 6 years old. Our beginner-friendly classes focus on building coordination, flexibility, and foundational skills through interactive exercises in a safe and encouraging environment. Beyond the physical, gymnastics at this early age fosters cognitive growth, social interaction, and a love for movement, for a healthy and active lifestyle.

    Designed for young athletes looking to develop their skills, this program introduces advanced techniques while fostering discipline, strength, confidence and advanced motor skills. Beyond physical fitness, gymnastics fosters mental resilience, teamwork, and goal-setting abilities, equipping young athletes with essential life skills that benefit them both in sports and everyday activities.

    These classes provide a supportive and inclusive environment where children with disabilities can develop strength, coordination, and flexibility through tailored gymnastics training. Special Olympics gymnastics fosters social interaction, self-esteem, and a sense of achievement, empowering children to reach their full potential in a fun and encouraging setting.

Pre-school Programs

Gymnastic classes for kids up to 6 years old focused on developing fundamental movement skills such as balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength through age-appropriate activities like tumbling, jumping, climbing, and swinging.

We offer various recreational classes for pre-school age kids beginning with our Mom and Me class and progressing to our Tiny Tumblers, Tumblers and Advanced Classes.

  • Walking to 3 Years Old
    (45 minutes)

    Our Mom (or Dad!) and Me program is a great way to spend some time with your little one. This class helps toddlers get a head start on developing gross and fine motor skills, basic coordination, listening skills and interactive play. Parent and child participate in a variety of activities and age appropriate gymnastics.

  • 3 - 4 Years Old
    (45 minutes)

    Here our 3-4-year old boys and girls begin to venture out on their own increasing their self-confidence and basic gymnastics fundamentals. They will explore all Olympic apparatus through basic gymnastics and gross motor skills.

  •  4 - 6 Years Old
    (55 minutes)

    This program teaches the fundamentals of gymnastics on all Olympic apparatus to boys and girls ages 4-6 years old. You will enjoy watching your child continue to develop coordination, strength, balance and courage all while having fun in a safe environment.

  • 4 - 6 Years Old
    (85 minutes)

    In this program girls develop a broader skill base and are ready for more of a challenge. These young athletes will explore more complex gymnastics movements, physical activates, and strengthening skills all while continuing to expand their gymnastics skills.

School Age Programs

Girls by Grade

Our trained coaching staff evaluates the gymnast's progress throughout each class session. As the gymnast masters skills, they will be challenged with more complex moves. Once the gymnast attains a certain proficiency on all apparatus they may be recommended to the Intermediate or Advanced programs.

  • The Novice class focuses on basic gymnastics skills on all Olympic apparatus.  In this program the gymnast will enjoy learning skills on floor such as handstands, cartwheels and bridge work while on uneven bars, they will focus on pullovers, casts and back hip circles.

  • In this 85 Minutes class, as the gymnast continues to conquer more advanced moves and increases their strength, they will demonstrate skills such as round-offs, walk overs, back handsprings on the floor exercise as well as handstands, cartwheels and beautiful jumps on the balance beams

  • This 115 minute, invitation only, class is designed for experienced gymnasts ready to build on foundational skills and progress to more challenging techniques. Athletes will focus on advanced tumbling, beam, bars, and vault skills while continuing to develop strength, flexibility, and confidence. Perfect for girls with prior gymnastics experience who are eager to take their abilities to the next level in a fun, structured, and supportive environment.

Special Olympics

These classes focus on fundamental movements, balance exercises, and skill-building activities that are adapted to each child's abilities, helping to improve motor skills, confidence, and overall physical fitness. Beyond the physical benefits, it fosters social interaction, self-esteem, and a sense of achievement.

  • At Beyond Gymnastics we believe in giving every child the opportunity to achieve his/her goals. 
    We strive to give individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to achieve these goals by providing them with a program to develop their physical fitness and confidence.

    Our Special Olympics program consists of 60 minute long classes run by our own competitive gymnasts.


    Classes typically begin and end with warm up/cool down and stretching.  
    * Class activities are based on the individual student's abilities.

    We design drills in line with Special Olympics requirements in the following events:

    • Vault

    • High Bar

    • Parallel Bars

    • Pommel Horse

    • Still Rings

    • Vault

    • Uneven Bars

    • Balance Beam

    • Floor

Recreational Program FAQ


    • For girls: A leotard is recommended, but a well-fitting t-shirt and shorts/leggings are also fine.

    • For boys: A well-fitting t-shirt and shorts are best.

    • No socks for either gender.

    • Avoid baggy clothes or open-cuff pants for safety.

    • No jewelry, except for small stud earrings.

    • Hair should be tied back.

    • A water bottle labeled with your child’s name (only water is allowed in the gym).

    • We have a filtered water bottle filler in the lobby.

    • No cups will be provided.

    • Classes are open for continuous enrollment throughout the year.

    • We have testing routinely throughout the session. If your child is ready to move up and there’s availability, you’ll receive an email with your options.

    • If you know your child will be absent, please schedule it through the Jackrabbit Parent Portal to notify the office and coach.

    • We offer one makeup class per month, which must be scheduled within 30 days of the absence.

    • Makeup classes can be scheduled in person, by phone, or via email at office@beyondgymnastics.com.

    • To withdraw, please complete the Google Withdrawal Form.

    • Submit the form by the 15th of the month prior to your desired withdrawal date, or you will be charged for the next month’s tuition.

    • The school session runs from September to June, and enrollment is ongoing as long as space is available.

    • Waitlists are available for full classes.

    • The summer session is separate, lasting about seven weeks, with registration opening in the spring.

    • Yes, trial classes are available and must be scheduled through the front office (via phone or email).

    • If you enroll after the trial, there’s no charge; otherwise, the trial class costs $12.

    • Follow Enter and Exit signs in the parking lot.

    • The lane in front of the ramp is for DROP-OFF ONLY (no parking or waiting).

    • You may park and walk your child in for class.

    • For pickup, please park and walk into the building.

    • Drive carefully through the parking lot, especially after dark, for everyone’s safety.

    • We do not follow any school district’s closing schedule, including Burlington Public Schools.

    • If the gym is closed, an email will be sent to all enrolled families, and a post will appear on our social media accounts.

    • Makeup classes will not be offered for weather-related closures.

    • You can choose between Autopay or Self Pay when registering.

    • Autopay: Tuition is automatically deducted on the 1st of each month using the payment information on file.

    • Self Pay: You can log into the Jackrabbit Parent Portal to pay by the 1st of each month, or pay in person by cash or check.

    • A $20 late fee will apply if payment is not made by the 7th of the month. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to your card.
